Rainog Terms of Purchase

These Terms of Purchase govern your use of the Rainog website (hereinafter “Website”) and any purchase of Danish outerwear and waterproof clothing (hereinafter “Products”) from Rainog. By placing an order on our Website, you agree to be bound by these terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund Policy. We recommend reviewing these terms carefully before completing your purchase.

1. Order Placement & Confirmation

1.1 How to Place an Order

To purchase Products from Rainog, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete information (including name, shipping address, email address, and payment details) during the checkout process.
  • Select the desired Product(s), size(s), and quantity(ies) before submitting your order.

1.2 Order Confirmation

Upon submitting your order, you will receive an order acknowledgment email to confirm we have received your request. This does not constitute a binding contract. A binding contract is formed only when we send a shipping confirmation email (which includes your tracking number and details of the shipped Product(s)).

1.3 Order Modifications/Cancellations

  • You may request to modify or cancel your order only if the order has not yet been shipped (i.e., before you receive the shipping confirmation email). To do so, contact our team immediately at [email protected] with your order number and the requested change.
  • Once your order has been shipped, modifications or cancellations are no longer possible. You will need to follow our return process (outlined in Section 4) to return the Product(s) after delivery.

2. Pricing & Payment

2.1 Currency & Pricing

All Product prices on the Website are displayed and charged in United States Dollars (USD). Prices include applicable taxes (where required by law) but exclude any customs duties or import fees for international orders (see Section 3.3 for details).

Rainog reserves the right to modify Product prices at any time, but such changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed with a shipping confirmation email.

2.2 Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and other secure payment methods as indicated at checkout. All payments are processed through third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) that use industry-standard encryption to protect your payment information. Rainog does not store your full payment details.

2.3 Payment Security

By providing payment information, you warrant that you are the authorized user of the payment method and that sufficient funds are available to cover the total order cost. If a payment is declined, we will notify you via email, and your order will be held until payment is successfully processed.

3. Shipping & Delivery

3.1 Order Processing & Shipping Timeline

  • Processing Time: All orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays in Denmark) from the date of order placement. Processing includes verifying payment, checking Product availability, and preparing the order for shipment.
  • Delivery Timeline: After processing, all orders are shipped via our trusted carriers (DHL, UPS, PostNord), and delivery takes 6–12 business days to any destination worldwide. This timeline is an estimate and may be extended by factors outside our control (e.g., customs delays, extreme weather, peak shipping periods).

3.2 Shipping Costs

Rainog offers free shipping on all orders worldwide, with no minimum order value required. There are no additional shipping fees for any destination, and this is automatically applied at checkout.

3.3 Customs & Import Duties (International Orders)

For orders shipped to destinations outside the European Union (EU), you may be responsible for paying customs duties, import taxes, or other fees imposed by your country’s customs authorities. These fees are not included in the Product price or covered by Rainog.

We will provide all necessary customs documentation (e.g., commercial invoice) with your order, stating the Product’s value and purpose (personal use). You are advised to check with your local customs office for details on applicable fees and processing times before placing your order.

4. Returns & Refunds

4.1 Return Eligibility & Timeline

You may return any unused, undamaged Product(s) for a refund within 60 days of the delivery date, provided:

  • The Product is in its original condition (no signs of wear, stains, or damage), with all original tags, packaging, and accessories included.
  • You provide a valid proof of purchase (order confirmation email or shipping confirmation email with your order number).
  • Custom or personalized Product(s) are final sale and not eligible for returns, unless they are defective (see Section 4.3).

4.2 How to Initiate a Return

To start a return:

  1. Email our team at [email protected] with your order number, Product name(s), size(s), and reason for the return.
  2. We will respond within 24–48 business hours with a pre-paid return label (valid worldwide) and instructions for shipping the Product(s) back to our warehouse.
  3. Ship the return package using the provided label. We recommend retaining the shipping receipt for tracking purposes.

4.3 Refund Processing

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned Product(s) (typically 3–5 business days after delivery to our warehouse) and confirm they meet eligibility requirements, we will initiate your refund.
  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. The time for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider’s processing times.
  • For defective Product(s) (e.g., manufacturing errors, faulty materials), we will cover all return shipping costs and process a full refund or send a replacement (your choice) within the same timeline.

5. Product Availability & Limitations

5.1 Stock Availability

All Products displayed on the Website are subject to availability. We strive to maintain accurate stock levels, but occasionally, a Product may be out of stock after an order is placed. If this occurs, we will notify you via email within 2 business days and offer the following options:

  • Cancel the order and receive a full refund.
  • Wait for the Product to be restocked (we will provide an estimated restock date).

5.2 Order Limits

Rainog reserves the right to limit the quantity of Product(s) you may purchase per order, particularly for high-demand or limited-edition items, to ensure fair access for all customers.

6. Product Information & Warranties

6.1 Product Descriptions

We make every effort to provide accurate, detailed descriptions of our Products (including size charts, fabric details, and waterproof ratings) on the Website. However, slight variations in color, fit, or material may occur due to manufacturing processes or differences in screen display settings. These variations do not constitute a defect and are not grounds for a return unless the Product differs significantly from the description.

6.2 Warranty

All Rainog Products come with a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects (e.g., faulty seams, broken zippers, defective waterproof membranes) from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper care (e.g., ignoring wash instructions), accidents, or modifications to the Product.

To claim the warranty, contact us at [email protected] with your order number, photos/videos of the defect, and a description of the issue. We will review your claim and, if approved, arrange for a repair, replacement, or full refund.

7. Limitation of Liability

Rainog shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or delay in delivery) arising from your purchase or use of our Products, except where such liability is required by law (e.g., in cases of negligence leading to personal injury).

Our total liability for any claim related to your order shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the Product(s) in question.

8. Changes to These Terms

Rainog reserves the right to modify these Terms of Purchase at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “last revised” date. Your continued use of the Website or placement of orders after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
